Employment Services Info Session - ODSP and Persons with Disabilities

We’re here to assist you with your employment search and career development.

RNC Employment Services offers a no cost to you Employment Services program supported through Employment Ontario to provide job search assistance, rebuild confidence, strengthen your skills, and prepare for meaningful employment.

Program Information Session Details:

Date: Wednesday January 26, 2026
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: 90 Burnhamthorpe Road West, 14th Floor – Unit 1400, Mississauga

Cost: FREE

Free Refreshments provided. Easily Accessible by Public Transit and Parking Available Onsite

Program Highlights

· Resume creation and Interview support

· Learn effective ways to job search

· Identifying suitable occupations for job search and upskilling

· Connections with employers who champion diversity and inclusivity in their hiring practices

· Building confidence and motivation

· Goal setting and planning for meaningful change

· One-on-one sessions with an Employment Consultant to explore career paths and access community resources and training opportunities

· Access to employment-related financial supports for eligible participates

Transit support will be provided to registered participants that join our program.

You may be eligible if you are:

· A resident of Ontario

· Legal working age

· Eligible to work in Canada (open work permit if applicable)

· Not currently enrolled in another IES program

On-the-spot eligibility screenings will be available during the session. Please bring the following required documents (if available) with you.

• Government-Issued Photo ID (e.g., Ontario Driver’s License, Ontario Photo Card, Passport, or Permanent Resident Card)

• Proof of Legal Work Status in Canada (one of the following): Canadian Birth Certificate, Canadian Citizenship Certificate, Permanent Resident (PR) Card, Open Work Permit (Employer-Specific Work Permits are NOT eligible), Social Insurance Number (SIN) – Required for employment services.

• Updated Resume (if available) – hard copy or print it onsite

• Ontario Works (OW) or Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Documents (if applicable) if your receiving social assistance.

If you don’t have all the above documents, you can still attend the information session and our team will guide you on how to obtain any missing documents.
