Expanding Care Infrastructure
We plan to identify specialty care priorities and explore opportunities to recruit alternative providers to the Althing Care Hub. This will require data and insights from employers regarding population health needs, as well as input on reimbursement models to support a more transparent and efficient pricing structure.
Innovative Care Partnerships
Leveraging the Althing model and potential pharmacy initiatives, we see an opportunity to strengthen our case for Rural Health Transformation funding. Combined with prior ALHC efforts and other possible funding opportunities, this could help expand services on the Althing Care Hub.
Ensuring Long-Term Viability
We will explore partnerships with provider groups to establish long-term agreements, along with the potential development of a community- based insurance captive, enabling employers to have ownership in the insurance model and access to a tailored provider network.
