About this Event

Join the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce for a nonpartisan Statewide Candidate Forum on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Albert Lea High School.

This special community event will bring together candidates seeking statewide and regional offices for a moderated discussion on the issues that matter most to residents, businesses, and communities across southern Minnesota.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear candidates discuss their priorities, leadership approaches, and perspectives on topics impacting our local economy, workforce, education, agriculture, public safety, and quality of life.

As part of the Chamber's commitment to civic engagement and informed decision-making, community members will also have the opportunity to submit questions in advance to help guide the discussion.
