A programme under Singapore Design Week 2024
Empathy is the foundation of human-centred design. In Design Thinking by Sidneyeve Matrix, it is described as “needfinding,” in that it involves discovering people’s explicit and implicit needs so that you can meet those needs through design. This hands-on workshop combines design thinking methods and speculative thinking to encourage creativity and innovation rooted in empathy.
Guided by our facilitators, you'll be able to collaborate with fellow participants in small groups to brainstorm problem statements, explore new ideas that address current issues, and shape the future as you think about the present. Document these creative ideas by making your very own zine, which you can take home at the end of the workshop and possibly turn your ideas into reality.
