Tickets coming soon!Emergence, the touring postgraduate dance company of Joss Arnott Dance and University of Salford presents a new triple bill of adrenaline-fuelled dance for this year’s programme performed by a new company of extraordinary dancers all set to new, originally composed music.
The first piece titled Our Guests is presented by Jason Mabana - a choreographer and contemporary lecturer based in London. He teaches at Rambert School and lectures in some of the biggest dance conservatoires in the world including Alvin Ailey School, Juilliard, University of The Arts Amsterdam and Royal Ballet School. Jason worked closely with the Emergence dancers to choreograph this vibrant, technically precise visual piece.
The second piece created by guest choreographer Faye Stoeser is called Rapture. Faye is a UK based dance artist with a career which spans from the contemporary dance sector to the commercial industry. This highly charged piece incorporates her artistic signature which has a base in contemporary dance and is influenced by underground battle and club dance styles.

complete the programme with a restaging of Euphoria from 2025 which features Arnott’s signature, exhilarating movement language. The piece explores the complexities of our ego, demonstrating a journey that leads to euphoria, allowing the dancers to lose their inhibitions and become the best versions of themselves. Be prepared to witness an exquisite interplay between movement and music all of which is accompanied by electrifying new music by Arnott’s long-term composer and collaborator James Keane.

Pay What You Can is an ‘honesty box’ for the theatre. We and the artists will continue to programme and produce high quality events and ask you to pay what you can afford.
As a guide, for those in full time employment we would appreciate you paying £5-£10. We also understand people's income can be precarious, hence the lower price options. All revenue from ticket sales for events at New Adelphi Theatre will always go back to support professional artists, through residencies, commissions, touring work or for more bespoke projects where the student experience is enhanced through co-creation with arts professionals. We thank you for all your continued support.
