About this Event
Dr. Jamie Marich (she/they), Ph.D., describes herself as a facilitator of transformative experiences. A clinical trauma specialist, expressive artist, writer, yoga teacher, performer, short filmmaker, Reiki master, TEDx speaker, and recovery advocate, she unites all of these elements in her mission to inspire healing in others.
Her many books cover topics like trauma recovery and addiction. In addition to her written work, She is a and the winner of several awards for her work as a mental health advocate.
She travels internationally teaching topics related to trauma, EMDR therapy, expressive arts, mindfulness, and yoga, while maintaining a private practice and online education operations in her home base of Akron, OH.
She is the founder and CEO of , an Ohio-based training organization for expressive arts and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy.
