*There are two date options for the first of this popular embroidery foundations series: Tuesday, November 5, 2024 or Saturday, November 9, 2024!*In this embroidery series, we will focus on stitch structure and technique. We will practice the stitches outside the confines of a design. Learn the basics of embroidery to be able to follow kit instructions easily or design our own embroideries. Beginners are welcome or experienced embroiderers who want to brush up on technique.
This class is the first of 7 in a series. In each class, you will learn the basics of each stitch family. This first class covers looped stitches. These are stand-alone classes so you can take one, a few, or all 7 classes!
This class is $38, and if you'd like to, you can purchase a kit from Laura for $5 - it's optional.
MATERIALS TO BRING:
Please feel free to bring any supplies you wish to make yourself feel comfortable, such as your own needles, threader, 6-inch or 8-inch hoop, scissors, cushion, hands-free system, etc. The instructor will have hoops and scissors available.
