Embroidered Patches Workshop

Learn the basics of embroidery and how to turn your brand new stitching skills into a felt patch.

You’ll learn several embroidery stitches for lettering and outlines, how to plan your design and transfer it to felt, techniques for layering felt to create borders, and tips for attaching your patch to your favorite jacket, bag, or hat.

You will have an opportunity to design your own patch or use a provided pattern.

This is the perfect project to incorporate a word of the year or goal for 2027!

All supplies included.

**Please note that you will need to walk down a staircase to get inside.

About the Instructor

Jessie Katz Greenberg is a crafting expert, educator, and content creator based in Nyack, NY.

Crafting isn't just a pastime for her—it's a way of life. With a BFA in Visual Communication Design and Art History, she spent over ten years as a graphic designer before directing craft, DIY, & home content at a video startup, managing the independent artist community at Spoonflower, and co-hosting the Craft Hangout Podcast.

As a workshop instructor she has led sessions across various crafts including collage, embroidery, needle felting, hand lettering, printmaking, and beyond. The joy of making something with your own hands isn’t just about the final product— it boosts self-esteem, can reduce stress, and it’s just plain fun! Whether she’s teaching in-person or creating engaging virtual content, her mission is to spread the joy of crafting and make it accessible and fun for everyone.
