Join us for a hands-on embroidery morning at OZCF Farm, guided by Ana María Blanco from Bordar Bordar. You’ll learn a few basic stitches, embroidery tips and tricks, and go home with your own hand embroidered Bee Cap from Chasing Bees.This is a special and thoughtful way to prepare your holiday gifts or a piece to keep, surrounded by the gentle rhythm of the farm.
Choose your cap color and design when you arrive. All supplies provided, all levels of experience welcome. Ages 10+.
* When: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
* Where: OZCF Farm, Oranjezicht, Cape Town
Instruction will begin at 9:10 am. Please arrive early to get set up and choose your cap color, design, and thread color(s).
A Chasing Bees mini pop-up will be open during the morning, perfect for browsing and planning your next project. PD. La Floria Coffee will be open for great cappuccinos!
What’s Included
* All tools and materials needed.
* A Chasing Bees Bee cap (you can choose your fav colour at the workshop)
* Small embroidery starter kit (needle, threads, a printed embroidery stitch guide and sticky paper embroidery pattern stickers)
* Practice fabric to test your stitches.
* Personal guidance on colour and design choices.
* Light refreshments and snacks throughout the morning.
* A selection of extra embroidery supplies to practice with.
