Based in New York City, Ely Perlman is emerging as one of the scene’s most exciting new voices. Known for his genre-blending versatility, he brings together guitar, production, songwriting, into a distinctive sound that blends jazz, indie-folk, and electronic music.
Ely is a member of Christian McBride’s newest quintet, Ursa Major. In 2025, he released his self-produced debut album, Everything Should Be, featuring guest appearances by Christian McBride, Shai Maestro, Braxton Cook, and more.
At Donau, Ely will perform music from the album alongside an incredible trio featuring Amir Bresler on drums and Daniel Nagel on bass.
