A series of 7 sessions, this course is designed for actors and non actors alike, for the purpose of strengthening the voice, development of techniques for carrying a narrative, and analyzing text. These techniques are also helpful for breaking down language barriers, and developing comfort and confidence in front of an audience.Classes will be broken into two parts: Exercises to develop proper breathing, diction, projection, and other technical elements of speech, and then practical work with poetry, and pros.
At the end of the session participants will have a chance to present developed work in front of an audience.
Full 7-week series is $300; drop in $50. While drop ins are welcomed, there is a degree of continuity throughout the series.
