Join Ellensburg Recycle Day on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ellensburg City Hall, 501 N. Anderson St. Bring your recyclables and learn about curbside service and local recycling drop-off locations!Event Collection Items:
• Bicycles & bike tubes. Your donation will be refurbished and given out to the community.
• Single-stream recyclables: plastic bottles/jugs, cardboard, paper, and clean food/beverage cans. *Glass will not be accepted*
• Paper documents for safe disposal by Shred-It
• Small batteries
• Professional clothing
Information-Only Booths (these items will not be collected at the event)
• Where do I recycle other items? (furniture, electronics, yard waste, etc.)
• Composting
• Repair Café
• Ellensburg Glass Recycling (glass will not be accepted at event)
• Toner Disposal
• Pesticide Disposal
• Medication Disposal
• E-Cycle WA (electronics)
• Can Crushing & Lid Removal (educational, hands-on)
