Children’s Christmas Parade 2024
It’s time for the 55th Annual Children’s Christmas Parade sponsored by the Ridgecrest Elks Lodge!
The theme this year is “A Toyland Christmas”. You and your organization are invited to join us on Saturday, December 14, 2024. The Parade will step off at 9 am. Children-themed floats with music, dancing, and participation by children are
encouraged! Political statements are not appropriate. Individual vehicles may enter. Ridgecrest Elks reserves the right to refuse entries deemed unsafe or not in line with the intended goal of the parade. Remember, this is a Children’s Christmas Parade! You will be permitted to HAND items to spectators (e.g. wrapped candy or toys) but nothing may be THROWN. Equestrian entries must provide written proof of liability insurance, naming the Elks as additional insured. We will try to place equestrian entries appropriately. This is not a competitive parade. Entries will not be judged; however, everyone will receive a participation ribbon as a memento. There is a $10 entry fee to help offset the cost of putting on the Parade. Entry forms are available at Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce, Ridgecrest Elks Lodge, or electronically by emailing ([email protected]) If your entry requires special consideration (singing, amplified sound, extra space to perform, etc.), please indicate your needs on the entry form. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be at the end of the parade. Please, no other entries as “Santa.” *A map of the parade route is included. Check-in will take place behind Home Depot on the corner of Las Flores and Sanders at 8 am. *Please mail or deliver your entry form with the fee and any other required information to Ridgecrest Elks Lodge or Chamber of Commerce no later than Monday, December 9th, 2024. *There will be a required meeting for all entries on Wednesday, 12/11 at 6pm. A representative from the entry must attend or make alternate arrangements. *Call or email the Ridgecrest Elks Lodge with any questions for all entries.
