There's just around a month to go until the Elham Model Railway Exhibition is held in the village hall on Saturday 11 April between 10am and 4pm. This is a joint venture between the lads of Elham Valley Model Railway Club and EKMRS – it will be first event of its kind to be held in the village for 10 years. We are expecting to see 14 model railway exhibitors plus eight reputable trade stands offering peer-loved model trains and accessories. Light refreshments will be on sale thanks to Pilgrims Hospices volunteers and they will also be operating a tombola on the day. Adult admission will be £6, children 5-16 £1, Families (2+3 u-16) £12 while under fives are free. Look forward to seeing you there!Kindly note parking at the village hall is limited but there are lots of free spaces in the centre of the village, a few minutes walk along the road. Buses from Folkestone and Canterbury run hourly to Elham on Stagecoach route 17.
