About this Event
Learn about Somatic Resourcing with Stephanie Bergulnd, LPC-MHSP, of Grounded Light Therapy. You will learn about what somatic resourcing is and how this framework can help deepen the benefits of self-care. You will also learn about specific topics pertaining to healing trauma. You will then have the opportunity to participate in a somatic resourcing activity to embody your learning.
Each month we’ll cover the following topics:
- Aug: Healing Trauma from a Somatic Lens
- Sept: Somatic Mindfulness Practice
Next, replenish your mind and body with a sound bath, led by Berkeley Clements. Sound baths are an ancient practice used for healing, relaxation, meditation, and more. They've been proven to reduce anxiety, increase energy levels, and promote healthy sleep patterns.
It's a simple process that involves lying down on a yoga mat while listening to soothing music. The combination of calming music with the vibrations of 432hz crystal singing bowls creates a deeply meditative state where your mind and body can completely relax.
