This book club is designed for kids ages 6 to 8. Children in this book club are expected to read the book with help from parents as needed. Kids will meet monthly to discuss the book and complete a brief activity. Children should have all or most of the month's book read before attending the book club. The first 10 kids to sign up will receive a library copy of the book to check out; one book per family. In November, we will read The Unicorn Rescue Society: The Creature of the Pines by Adam Gidwitz. Pre-registration is required. You can register online, in person, or by calling the Children's Desk at 936-522-2754.If any individual requires an accommodation to participate in the library events, programs, or classes, please contact the host library location.
