About this Event
This breathwork experience is designed to take you on a guided internal journey using a combination of upregulating and downregulating breathing cycles. By intentionally shifting the rhythm of the breath, we move the body through different states, building energy, releasing what’s been held, and then settling into deeper levels of awareness, guiding you into altered states of consciousness.
A key part of this experience is the use of surround sound headphones that deliver bilateral stimulation. This creates a fully immersive environment that supports the brain in shifting into slower brainwave states, allowing you to drop into theta and access a deeper meditative state. Bilateral stimulation also helps the nervous system process and release stored emotional patterns, making it easier to move through suppressed emotions and create new internal connections.
As the journey unfolds, we’ll also integrate inner child work, giving you the opportunity to reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside or overlooked. This is where a lot of the emotional release and awareness can begin to shift. This is an immersive experience designed to help you step out of your day-to-day thinking mind and into a deeper, more connected state within yourself.
This style of breathwork includes moments of intensity. While the end result is a deep meditative and relaxed state, parts of the journey are more stimulating and activating as the body moves energy and releases stored emotions. Health contraindications do apply. Please ensure this type of breathwork is suitable for you. Those with heart conditions, epilepsy, severe mental disorders, or who are pregnant should not attend this class.
Event Details & What to Expect
This is a fully guided, immersive experience. You’ll be lying down for the duration of the session as you’re led through different breathing patterns, supported by sound and structured guidance.
What to Bring: We recommend bringing two pillows and a blanket so you can be comfortable while lying on the floor. If you have lower back problems, we recomend 2 pillows for under the knees. There is space for cot sized matressess as well, should you want to bring one. We recommend to bring water.
Important Note: If you have asthma, you are required to bring your inhaler with you.
