Elemental Flow: Yoga for Every Body
About this Event
Find your element, find your flow, and make a little space for yourself.
Begin your day with a welcoming, all-levels yoga class inspired by five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and moments of rest, we'll explore different ways to connect with our bodies, find balance, and move in ways that feel good.
This isn't about perfect poses or keeping up with anyone else. Move at your own pace, explore what feels supportive, and make the practice your own. All bodies, abilities, and experience levels are welcome, including complete beginners!
What to ExpectA 60-minute vinyasa yoga flow with accessible movement and options for all experience levelsMindful movement and breathwork inspired by the five elementsA welcoming, judgment-free space where you can move at your own paceA cozy, calming atmosphere with soft lightingA spot in our salt cave waiting for you to relax and unwind after class
Meet Your Instructor: Sam
Sam is a Therapeutic Yoga Teacher and Personal Trainer with over 12 years of experience helping people feel more comfortable and connected in their bodies.
As a queer practitioner, Sam is especially passionate about creating accessible, trauma-informed, and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities. Her approach centers choice, curiosity, and self-acceptance, making room for everyone to experience yoga in their own way.
Stay a Little Longer!
The relaxation doesn't have to end when class does!
After yoga, our salt cave will be open for anyone who wants to unwind a little longer! Relax in the calming, salt-infused atmosphere, where halotherapy may help support respiratory wellness, ease congestion, and encourage deeper, more comfortable breathing.
We'll have yoga mats, water, tea, and snacks available, so all you need to bring is yourself!
Want to make a whole spa day out of it? You can also book a sauna + cold plunge session for a little extra hot-and-cold self-care.
Come as you are. Move how you feel. Find your element.
More about Sam!
Sam is a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Yoga Teacher and Personal Trainer with over 12 years of experience supporting whole-person well-being. She believes the mind, body, and spirit are deeply interconnected and strives to help people feel more at home in their bodies. Through her independent practice, she offers Personal Training, Therapeutic Yoga, Nutrition Coaching, and Group Exercise in both individual and group settings. Her approach blends academic study with lived experience, emphasizing accessibility, autonomy, and trauma-informed care.
Yoga began as a deeply personal practice for Sam, offering a space for safety, exploration, and self-acceptance as a queer person. Over time, this connection grew into a commitment to supporting others, particularly within LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities. She intentionally creates affirming, empowering, and judgment-free spaces, recognizing that not everyone has felt welcomed or represented in traditional wellness settings.
Sam believes well-being looks different for everyone. She embraces the balance between movement and stillness, honoring each person's unique needs, experiences, and abilities. With care, curiosity, and respect, she encourages individuals to explore what feels supportive, build trust in themselves, and develop a more compassionate relationship with their bodies.
About the Venue
Elements Counseling & Wellness Spa is an inclusive space for mental health, healing, personal growth, and whole-person wellness. We believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to feeling well, which is why we bring together traditional, evidence-based counseling with complementary wellness services that support both the body and mind. Our values are rooted in empathy, diversity, cultural inclusion, confidentiality, social justice, community, and the importance of human connection.
Whether you're looking for therapy, massage, yoga, meditation, sound healing, or simply a place to pause and care for yourself, you're welcome at Elements. We also love creating unique classes, events, and experiences that bring people together, explore new ways of caring for ourselves, and open the door to connection, growth, and wellness. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive space where people can explore what wellness looks like for them and build a path that fits their unique needs.
