Electric Lights with Anja Schneider & Katja Ruge in Hamburg

ELECTRIC LIGHTS celebrates the energy and creative force of women in electronic music: their passion, experience and unique artistic perspectives. Photographer and DJ Katja Ruge brings the dome of Planetarium Hamburg to life together with artists she has portrayed. This edition features Anja Schneider.
Anja Schneider has been one of the defining voices of electronic music in Germany since the 1990s. As a DJ, producer, radio host, podcaster, label founder and curator, her work connects club culture with storytelling, artistic exchange and social relevance.
With her label Sous Music, founded in 2017, she has created an independent creative space beyond short term market logic. Her podcast Clubroom Backstage expands this perspective, bringing together voices from music, design, technology and culture while looking at club culture through personal, biographical and societal lenses.
She continues to shape new contexts through projects such as PuMp at Berlin’s OHM, a daytime club format that opens up different perspectives on electronic music and its audiences. Internationally active as a DJ and producer, she also increasingly moves into interdisciplinary fields, most recently at Salzburg Festival.
29 euros, concessions 24 euros.
Duration approx. 150 minutes including break.
