Join us for the unveiling of five blue plaques in Barnsley town centre on Saturday 16 November commencing at 11.30am at The Old Bank, Church Street and ending around 12.45pm.The plaques, developed in partnership between the Eldon Street High Street Heritage Action Zone, Barnsley Museums, Barnsley Civic Trust and Historic England, commemorate notable 19th Century figures and the buildings they were associated with, in and around Eldon Street. The event is free and there is no need to book in advance.
