Humankind Center is honored to welcome EIR (Alexandra Freyer) to Sedona for a special day of Ecstatic Dance experiences.

Join us for a morning activation dance and an evening ceremonial dance journey, each offering a unique opportunity to move, release, and connect through music and community.

EIR is known for creating deeply immersive dance journeys that weave together organic house, downtempo, tribal rhythms, and ethereal soundscapes. Her sets invite dancers into a state of flow, where music becomes medicine and movement becomes prayer.

You are invited to attend one dance or immerse yourself in the full day experience.

Morning Ecstatic Dance
Activation Dance (Family Friendly)

Begin your day in motion with a vibrant morning ecstatic dance designed to awaken the body, open the heart, and energize your spirit.

This joyful gathering welcomes dancers of all ages, making it a beautiful opportunity for families and community members to move together in a playful and uplifting space.

Expect an uplifting journey of rhythm and movement guided by EIR’s signature blend of tribal beats, melodic house, world rhythms, and organic textures.

8:30–8:45 AM — Arrival + gentle stretching
8:45–9:00 AM — Opening circle
9:00–10:15 AM — Ecstatic dance journey
10:15–10:30 AM — Closing circle

Evening Ecstatic Dance + Sound Healing
Ceremonial Dance Journey

8:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Return in the evening for a deeper ceremonial ecstatic dance experience.

As the sun sets over Sedona, EIR will guide the room through a powerful sonic journey of rhythm, emotion, and transformation. The dance builds gradually into an expansive peak before transitioning into a 20-minute crystal bowl sound healing integration.

This evening gathering is designed as a conscious container for deeper movement, release, and inner exploration.

8:00–8:15 PM — Arrival + gentle stretching
8:15–8:30 PM — Opening circle
8:30–10:10 PM — Ecstatic dance journey

Ecstatic dance is a free-form, conscious movement experience where music leads and the body responds.

There are no steps to follow and no way to do it wrong — just space to move, express, release, and connect through rhythm.

Whether you’re new to ecstatic dance or a seasoned mover, this is an invitation to drop in, let go, and allow the music to guide you.

To keep the space intentional and immersive:

• No phones on the dance floor
• No talking in the movement space
• Move with awareness and respect for yourself and others

EIR is the musical creation of Alexandra Freyer — vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, songwriter, and producer.

Alexandra grew up studying classical operatic voice and piano, with a background in theater and dance. Through years of meditation, yoga, herbalism training, vocal activation, esoteric studies, and the transformative journey of motherhood, the musical project EIR was born.

Her music blends the etheric and esoteric with the physical world, moving fluidly between downtempo, sound healing frequencies, and organic progressive world house. The result is a euphoric and cathartic dance experience designed to open the body and heart through rhythm.

Both a studio and performance artist, EIR brings these immersive journeys to ecstatic dance floors, conscious festivals, and transformational gatherings around the world.

She joined Moon Babe Records in 2024 and has been featured on their seasonal album releases.

Alexandra currently resides in Arizona, while also spending time between New England, Costa Rica, and Bali.
