Eighth Annual Catalina Wine Mixer
About this Event
Why it’s only the biggest helicopter leasing event in the western hemisphere since 1997! Just Kidding. If you haven’t seen the movie Step Brothers (2008) then you probably aren’t getting the joke. Anyway ... in the film there is a scene where our main characters are at an event called the Catalina Wine Mixer. It is at a very pivotal part of the film and pretty damned funny. A few years back, 8 to be exact, we thought it would be fun to havve our own Catalina Wine Mixer and the rest is history. So whether you have seen this classic film or not, the result is the same. Come out to the Tangled Wood with your friends, sample some wine, relax and enjoy yourself. If you haven’t seen the film, don’t worry, we are showing it on our GIANT OUTDOOR TV!
Note: This film is rated R and contains some pretty salty language. Just keep that in mind when debating about whether or now to get a baby sitter. Also, the wine a tasting is a 21 and over event so, yeah, get that baby sitter, leve the kids at home and tell the sitter you will be home late.
Wine Tasting General Admission - $30
You’re a fan. We get it. We are too! With your general admission ticket, you get to sample some of the finest wines around. This ticket gets you into the tasting area at 3 pm and a commemorative Catalina Wine Mixer souvenir tasting glass.
While you are allowed at The Tangled Wood to enjoy the film and our luxurious green space, you may not enter the tasting prior to 3pm. This ticket does not entitle you to a shirt, lanyard, any other VIP benefits. However, some t-shirts may be available for purchase at the event.
Note: General admission tickets will be available for sale at the event for $40.

Info: Everyone else who purchases a ticket for the tasting can enter the tasting tents at 3pm. General tickets are available at the door for $40 (or $30 in advance online) and come with a tasting glass. The Wine Tasting ends at 6pm, but stick around for Howl At the Moon at 7pm.
