Edinburgh - ECCAN x People Planet Pint™ Sustainability Meetup

This People Planet Pint follows ECCAN’s Autumn Assembly: Many Communities, One Table, a day exploring how food can bring different cultures and communities together. The Assembly will bring ECCAN members together for discussion, shared food and creative workshops focused on building stronger connections across Edinburgh.

Whether you’ve spent the day at the Assembly or are joining us just for the evening, you’ll be very welcome.

Would you like to attend the Assembly?

Register for the conference here:

The Assembly is open to ECCAN members. Membership is free and only takes a minute: https://www.eccan.scot/join-eccan

ECCAN is Edinburgh’s Climate Hub, connecting and supporting local residents, community groups and organisations taking action on the climate and nature emergencies across the city.

By joining the network, you can connect with others across Edinburgh, hear about events and funding, access support and resources, and get involved in community climate action.

Edinburgh Communities Climate Action Network (ECCAN) is Edinburgh’s Climate Hub, connecting and supporting people, community groups and organisations taking action on the climate and nature crisis across the city.

It’s free to join the network, giving you opportunities to connect with others across Edinburgh, hear about events and funding, access support and resources, and get involved in community climate action happening across the city.

Do you wish trains were cheaper, there were more trees on your street, and more solar panels over local car parks?

Are you frustrated that with increasingly wild weather people are still paving over nature, and you’re left feeling like the only one who cares in your friends WhatsApp group?

You're not alone! You've just been in the wrong room.

People Planet Pint is your local sustainability meetup - no pitches, no presentations, no panels.

Just like-minded people talking about the planet over a pint (or two).

You don't need to be a sustainability professional. You don't need to know what "Scope 3" means (most people don't!).

If you’re curious about what’s going on locally and feel that a better future is possible - come along to meet others like you and chat about what’s going on locally, how to get involved and what solutions are out there.

Come for conversations with real people - it’s a space to swap ideas, find opportunities, get things off your chest or just sit back and listen. You'll leave with practical ways to get involved and leave a lot more optimistic about the future!

Get a taste for what it feels like with our video here.

Every job is a climate job, so come along to ask the questions you've been too afraid to ask, and finally meet people who actually get it.

Everyone is welcome, whatever your experience or background.

A better future is possible now. And it starts at your local pub, with a pint in hand.

So, got a free evening? Come find your people.
