ABOUT EDIE & SARAH (DUO)
In 2014, veteran singer-songwriters and longtime friends/touring partners Edie Carey and Sarah Sample released their first duo album, , which garnered widespread praise and several awards, including Best Children’s Album in the 2014 Independent Music Awards. They enjoyed such success with that release that they were inspired to record a follow up album on the 10 year anniversary of their first collaboration. will be released October 18th, 2024 and they will be performing album release concerts in 2024-5, including appearances at Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, Club Passim, and Swallow Hill.

Edie and Sarah will share songs from both their joint and solo releases and plenty of uptempo material, too. This is no sleepy show, but (of course) you're welcome to come enjoy the music in your softest pants :)

ABOUT EDIE:
Edie Carey has been performing since 1999, singing alongside Sara Bareilles and Brandi Carlile and appearing on PRI’s syndicated Mountain Stage as well as Cayamo, Telluride Bluegrass, and Newport Folk Festivals. She was a featured vocalist along with Lisa Loeb on the 2020 Grammy-Winning ensemble All the Ladies. Americana Highways called her 2022 release The Veil “one of the best of the year” and Basic Folk listed it as #4 on their “Top 10 of 2022 So Far” alongside Grammy-nominees Anais Mitchell and Aoife O’Donovan.
