Rave OM offers conscious dance events that blend elements of ecstatic dance, sober raving, and movement meditation. We reclaim music as the high -as a source of energy and connection - and hold community at our heart.

The two-hour dance session is an invitation to step out of your everyday life and drop into the presence of your body as we come together to enjoy the power of movement, music, and community. Our handpicked line-up of talented DJs will curate an unforgettable blend of soul-stirring tunes, creating a seamless fusion of world rhythms, tribal beats, and electronic vibrations with all genres in play. We hold our dance floor as a sacred, non-judgmental space in which we express ourselves through the language of the body - no words, no phones, and no substances! There are no steps to follow, simply let the music guide you and immerse yourself in the dance.

This Rave OM event take place at the incredible Engine House Church Warehouse in Cardrew Industrial estate Redruth, a purpose build carpeted warehouse black box events space for this evening of free movement, vibrant rhythms, and joyful expression. Arrive early for a herbal tea and a chat as you relax into the evening.

Whether you're an experienced dancer or new to conscious movement, this event is open to everyone, creating a welcoming vibe for all ages and backgrounds. It's the perfect opportunity to connect with others, enjoy a night out with loved ones, or simply take some time for yourself. Our intention is for you to leave feeling refreshed, uplifted, and more connected to yourself and others.

For this special event we are giving those who are first timers to our ecstatic dance the opportunity to come for free with an experinced person. You will both need to get your tickets seperatley through the checkout and the first timer will need to be accompanied by the Rave Om vetren on entry. Limited free spaces are on offer and when they are gone they are gone!

WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE?

Ecstatic dance is a non religious free-form dance practice inviting people to connect to themselves and to others through music and movement. A facilitator guides you through a short warm-up to help you arrive and relax into the space and your body; it is then the music that guides you through your dance, played via a live DJ set. There are no steps to learn or follow - you are welcome to move however you wish, and to feel whatever emotions may come up. We have a few simple guidelines which we ask you to follow:

1) No talking on the dancefloor - ecstatic dance is not a social gathering; it’s a chance to really drop into our bodies and let them do the talking. If you do need to use words to communicate something, please do so in a way that doesn’t distract the other dancers. There is time to enjoy talking to others before and after the dance :)

2) Be your authentic self - ecstatic dance is a drug and alcohol free space in which we can enjoy the experience of being our wonderful authentic selves, reaching euphoric states, without the need for intoxicants. Moving our bodies together to amazing music is all we need! Please avoid wearing overbearing scents too.

3) No phones - we want people to feel free to move and express themselves without worrying how it might look, so we don’t take any photos or videos during the dance (except a group shot at the end for anyone who wants to be in it!). Please leave your phone on silent and in your bag, and enjoy being without it for a few hours!

4) Enjoy your journey - may it be medicinal! Emotions may arise and they are all welcome. Move through and dance with them, and if you need support just ask one of the Rave OM team who will be happy to help you. Be respectful of each other’s journeys too - accept them without judgement.

DJ BOBBY LOST

DJ Bobby Lost is the founder of Rave OM. He has been raising the conscious clubbing vibration since 2009. Bobby is a true specialist in his field of Conscious DJs. He was resident DJ at the UK’s Longest running  Conscious Clubbing festival  ‘Puravida’. He was also resident DJ and the music programmer for ‘Morning Gloryville Brighton’ and ran ‘Right Here Right Now’. He also curated The Commune wellbeing area at Bestival. Since 2016 he has been playing ecstatic dances and loving the multigenre journey model. 

Bobby has spun at events all over the world. including Buddahfields, Boardmasters, Wilderness, Camp Bestival, Shambala, Secret garden Party, Bestival, No Mind Festival Sweden, Movement Festival in Oslo, Bliss conscious clubbing in Sweden and Norway and many weddings, corporate events and parties.  

He’s also played Yoga-Raves and ecstatic dances in London, Bristol, Portugal, Amsterdam, Oslo,Cyprus, Sweden and Crantock!

The venue is located at Cardrew Industrial Estate, just outside Redruth town centre. There is parking available on-site and around the estate.

Public Transport:
From Truro: Train to Redruth (approx. 15 mins), then a 20–25 minute walk or short taxi.

From Falmouth: Train via Truro to Redruth, then walk or taxi as above.

From Redruth town centre: Around a 20–25 minute walk or 5 minute taxi.

C ANCELLATION POLICY

Tickets are non-refundable, sorry, but feel free to pass your ticket to friends/family in case you purchased it and can no longer attend.
