About this Event

Join us for the 3rd Economic Impacts of Climate Change (EICC) Workshop hosted by the in Sydney CBD on Wednesday the 5th of August.

The workshop brings together academia, government, and industry to give short and engaging presentations on what they are working on in this important area. Topics include the physical risks of climate change on the economy (e.g. productivity, macroeconomic, and agricultural impacts), transition risks to the economy, and how to accelerate or improve decarbonisation efforts. As the planet approaches 1.5 degrees of warming, research into its current and potential future economic impacts is important to better inform our expectations of the future and how we can best adapt to or mitigate the coming challenges.

The workshop will also be a great way to network with people in the area over a meal or drinks.

Attendance is limited so please ensure you register soon to avoid missing out.
