About this Event
Aki will share how she adapted a beloved chapter book into graphic novel form, then guide young creators through fun, practical activities to help them start creating their own stories in panels.
Aki's books will be available for purchase after the session.
For kids aged 5-12. Bookings essential. Please book one ticket for each child attending.

About the illustrator
Aki Fukuoka was born in Japan, then moved to New Zealand where she graduated from the Elam School of Fine Arts. She has illustrated over 80 books, including award-winning children's picture books, chapter books (like Billie B Brown) and educational titles.
Accessibility
This event will be held on Level 1 and is accessible for people using mobility aids via lift. A hearing loop is also installed.
