An Eclipse Wellness Event for the last day of summer… let’s call in the Equinox with this potent offering.
A Collaborative Somatic Expansion Experience with The Osgood Family & Brandie Furniss, The Body Oracle
Date: Sunday, September 21st
Time: 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM
(Timed to align with the partial solar eclipse energy 3:42 pm maximum at the new moon, last day of summer)
Theme: Aligning with Seasonal Flow, Cultivating Personal Abundance, Releasing + Energetic Cleansing, Gentle Movement, Sound Healing to Seal in an Abundant Harvest.
Venue: The Aligned Collective
Wellness Event Outline (3.5 Hours)
Part 1: Arrival, Seeding & Settling (1:00 PM) Welcome & Earseeding (Facilitated by Melody Osgood, LAc): Guests are greeted and immediately guided to Melody's station.
Melody provides a brief explanation of the ear seeding protocol as she applies the seeds to each participant.
Settling In: After receiving their seeds, participants find their space, get comfortable with their mats/blankets. This creates a quiet, bustling energy of arrival.
Part 2: Opening Circle & Cultivating the Soil. Opening Circle (Facilitated by All): Once everyone is settled, a formal welcome circle begins. Please share names & intentions at this time.
Introduction to the theme and the potent energies of the Partial Solar Eclipse & Equinox.
Brief introductions from each practitioner with gratitude to serve.
Qigong for Energetic Flow (Facilitated by Zach & Melody): A gentle, guided Qigong session to move energy, connect breath to body, and set the intention of releasing and receiving. This helps integrate the initial work of the ear seeds. We will also incorporate some tapping on specific acupressure points as a part of this somatic practice to encourage balance and smooth flow.
Part 3: The Cacao Ceremony: Nourishing. Facilitated by all three practitioners: Blessing of the Cacao and explanation of working with the plant as a heart-opening plant ally
Warming and mixing the Cacao during the blessing. Distribution and consumption of the cacao.
Facilitated by Zach, The Chakra Tuner: Bioenergetic Tuning. Soft Music played by Melody Osgood begins (flute, ocean drums, gongs).
Zach goes to each participant and uses tuning forks to balance the biofield of each participant.
Part 4: Aligning the Vessel: Body Oracle Energywork & Kinesiology
Facilitated by Brandie Kristle Furniss, The Body Oracle: Participants get into a comfortable reclined position. (Option to be touched or not during the integrative sound bath with gentle body balancing).
Craniosacral Alignment: A guided group meditation to deepen relaxation and bring awareness to the craniosacral rhythm, facilitating a state of balance.
Kinesiology & Energy Medicine for Abundance: Brandie leads the group through visualization to identify and re-pattern subconscious blocks to abundance. This work is now done with the ear seeds actively supporting the nervous system.
Part 5: The Harmonic Harvest: Integrative Sound Bath Facilitated by Zach, The Chakra Tuner: Without needing to transition, the group is already in the perfect deep, relaxed state for the sound bath.
Zach begins the immersive sound journey. The vibrations work synergistically with the ear seeds (which are now fully "activated" by the relaxed state), the craniosacral alignment, and the new abundance frequency from the kinesiology work.
This becomes the powerful integrative peak of the experience. Brandie & Melody offer accompaniment with other gentle sound scapes in the room.
Part 6: Integration & Gentle Return
Facilitated by All: Gentle guidance back to the room. Silence is held for a few moments.
Participants are invited to slowly sit up, perhaps journal a few insights, and sip water.
Closing Circle & Aftercare:
Brief opportunity for sharing a few words or feeling about the experience (optional).
Final thoughts on carrying the abundance energy forward.
Aftercare tips: drinking water, moving gently, and instructions on when/how to remove the ear seeds.
Earseeds:
Ear seeding is a health practice that involves acupressure on the ear. The “seed” or metal ball in many cases is held against the skin with a piece of tape, thus pressing the seed into the acupoint. The ear is innervated by the vagus nerve (otherwise known as the wandering nerve) which also innervates the heart, lungs, and digestive system. The vagus nerve to ear connection is what is thought to be responsible for the efficacy of auricular (ear) acupuncture for conditions involving different areas of the body since the ear is a microsystem in Chinese Medicine. Because of this, there are points in the ear that can be used to help with any condition- from back pain to allergies!
Ear Seeding Points Example: Shen Men, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Sympathetic (Hypoallergenic Titanium Earseeds will be used).

Bios:
Melody Osgood:
Melody is a Licensed Acupuncturist, NCCAOM Diplomate of Acupuncture, Doula, and Childbirth Educator. She strives each day to provide the best possible care and education for her patients.
Since a young age, Melody knew that she wanted to be a healthcare practitioner to help others on their journey to health. She attended Rochester Institute of Technology and studied Biomedical Sciences. After her Bachelor’s degree, she discovered acupuncture and loved that the paradigm is about treating both the root and the branch of the illness. She later enrolled at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and New York Chiropractic College. While in school, she discovered not only a passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine but also what acupuncture could do for her patients.
After graduating, Melody took a particular interest in the life cycle and in the transitions we make as we go through events such as birth and death. This led her to pursue her certification in Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncture as well as her DONA training as a Doula. Melody is continuing her learning constantly in order to stay up to date and provide her patients the best care possible.
Melody has taken continuing education in Fertility, Treating Endocrine Conditions with Acupuncture, Pregnancy and Labor Practice, Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Microneedling, Facial Gua Sha, Placenta Encapsulation, and Childbirth Education. Through her own personal experience with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome as well as through her patients, she has gained valuable experience in treating connective tissue disorders and MCAS.
When she is not treating patients, continuing her education or attending births, she is spending time with her husband, son, two cats and dog. She loves hiking and foraging for wild herbs and mushrooms, gardening, and working on our home.
Zach Osgood:
Zach is a Certified Expert Sound Healer, Reiki Master, Certified Cacao Facilitator and Trauma-Informed Practitioner. His aim is to bring balance to his clients' vital energies and provide an enhanced sense of relaxation and wellbeing. Zach believes that the body is naturally designed to heal itself when given the right conditions.
Since Zach was a child, he has been able to see colors and shapes much like wavelengths around people. As he learned more about Chakras, he was able to take notice of the color correspondences and their ties to emotion and physical ailments as well as the things that a person’s aura could tell him about them. When he attended FLCC, he took a course called Therapeutic Touch and that course really inspired him.
He then learned about Reiki and the effects that it can have. After he received his own Reiki healing, he came to a deeper understanding of this gift and feel compelled to share it with others.
Zach took his Reiki training and attunement in September of 2021 and has followed it up pursuing his Reiki Master designation in 2024. He started his Sound Healer journey in 2023 and has completed his Level 1, Level 2 and Expert Certification. He has been working closely with his wife where they combine his sound healing and spiritual gifts with her acupuncture talents- both in private sessions as well as in group settings.
Zach completed a Cacao Ceremony Facilitator course in 2024 as well and he has been hosting Cacao Ceremonies- in combination with sound baths and AcuSound since 2024.
When he is not tuning chakras, he likes to spend time with his wife, son, two cats and dog. He loves learning more about the natural world around us and tending his garden, foraging for herbs, nerding out about mushrooms, and playing his guitar.

Brandie is a heart centered practitioner & qualified guide through these transitional times having studied cross cultural traditions from around the world. With highly refined abilities/skills to support you in health, relationships, and growing your own personal practice!
Also, certified in Early Childhood (education) in 2010 with a concentration on Human Services. She grew up in the Finger Lakes, Seneca Falls, NY.

Brandie teaches self-healing through ancient energy medicines for over a decade in the WNY area. Has blended herbal remedies for most of her life, is a mother of three children, holds ceremonies, is an organic gardener & has been studying advanced metaphysics for nearly 30 years. She is highly talented as a mixed media artist, a vocalist, and light language channel, is passionate about fostering healthy communication skills, as well as supports intimacy building in relationship with self-mastery coaching. In 2012, her gifts as a medical intuitive began to be more present as well as other abilities. Transformational alchemical mentoring that guides intuitives, creatives, and professionals to read their body as an Oracle allowing for more flow and ease.
