Echoes Through Generations 筝途
A teacher-led student concert celebrating musical growth, learning, and cultural heritage through the guzheng. Featuring performers ranging from young beginners to more advanced students, the concert showcases a variety of musical styles and highlights the role of music in connecting generations.
Lead Performer: Scarlett Wang – Guzheng
Participants: Approximately 8–10 guzheng students and guest performers.

Xitong (Scarlett) Wang – Guzheng
Xitong (Scarlett) Wang is a London-based guzheng performer and educator. She holds a Master’s degree in Music Industry Studies from the University of Liverpool and has over a decade of experience in guzheng performance and teaching. Since moving to the UK in 2020, she has appeared at venues including the University of Liverpool’s Yoko Ono Lennon Centre, the Natural History Museum, Watford Palace Theatre, and Westminster Music Library.
In 2024, she established Crossline, a London-based ensemble exploring collaborations between Chinese and Western musical traditions. Her recent creative work includes Thrones and Wukong, a cross-cultural arrangement featured in this programme. Through performances, educational projects, and cross-cultural collaborations, she is dedicated to sharing Chinese musical traditions with diverse audiences.
