Through the powerful stories of photographers and a sound designer who documented the 1986 Chornobyl disaster, the film explores memory, truth, and the enduring importance of bearing witness. Combining rare personal accounts, striking photography, and immersive sound, Echoes of Chornobyl offers a deeply human perspective on one of history’s most significant nuclear catastrophes and the people who dedicated their lives to preserving its history.
