Everyone knows the stories of Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and Little Red Riding Hood. Or do they? Go Into the Woods and see your favorite storybook characters as you've never seen them before in this Tony Award winning epic musical fairytale about wishes, family and the choices we make.
AUDITIONS: Prepare a 60 second cutting from any Broadway musical. Bring your accompaniment.
ROLES: Singing/acting roles for 7 males and 12 females ages 16 to Adult including The Baker, The Baker's Wife, Jack, Little Red, Cinderella, The Witch. Rapunzel, The Princes and The Wolf. There is no ensemble for this show.
REHEARSALS: Generally 2-4 nights per week from 7pm-9:30pm Monday through Thursday April 15 to June 10. The show is musically challenging but does not require dance skills.
SHOWS: 4 public performances June 11-14 at The Oxford.
