QIGONG FOR HEALTH AND LONGEVITY
By Sandra Mighell, Certified Qigong Instructor
Qigong is a 2,500-year-old mindful movement practice from China that harmonizes breath, gentle flowing movement, and mindful focus—the three pillars that support the cultivation of Qi, or life force energy. Through simple standing movements and focused breathing, practitioners nourish the mind, body, and spirit. Qigong has become a respected and well known rockstar in the world of complementary and alternative medicine. Research shows Qigong can improve balance, respiratory health, strength, flexibility, sleep, emotional wellbeing, and pain management. It also fosters clarity, intuition, and a sense of inner empowerment
Sandra Mighell is a certified Nia, Tai Chi, and Qigong teacher and has over 25 years of experience sharing her movement practice. This class requires no previous experience. Join us for this ancient Chinese practice that combines very gentle, flowing movement with deep breathing and mindful focus. Qigong has proven benefits for stress reduction, focus and overall longevity and health
