Join us for the first ECCS Parent Book Club to learn parenting skills while connecting with other Southington parents and caregivers.
About this Event

Our first book will be Tiny Humans Big Emotions: How to Navigate Tantrums, Meltdowns, and Defiance to Raise Emotionally Intelligent Children by Alyssa Blask Campbell & Lauren Elizabeth Stauble.

A limited number of copies of this book can be borrowed for this book club event from the Southington Public Library or from the ECCS's collection. You can also purchase your own copy.

Childcare is not available at this event, but babies are welcome to attend. Snacks will be provided.

Why are the ECCS Parent Ambassadors hosting this book club series? When the ECCS, as a Local Governance Partner under the CT Office of Early Childhood, completed their Local Needs Assessment we found that addressing children's behavior was one of the big concerns that parents and caregivers had.
