EBAS Business Breakfast - the official launch
About this Event
Join us for the launch of EBAS (Ealing Borough Apprenticeship Scheme) — a new, practical employer offer designed to help you build, grow and retain a skilled local workforce.
Hosted at the brand new Learning & Skills Hub at Perceval House — one of the first events to take place in this new borough facility — this event will bring together a curated group of leading employers from across Ealing.
EBAS is built around a simple idea: working in partnership with employers to make recruitment, skills and workforce development easier, more effective, and more local.
Whether you’re already investing in apprenticeships or just starting to explore your options, this is an opportunity to connect, share and shape what comes next — together.
Why this matters now
Across the UK and London, there is a renewed focus on skills as the engine of economic growth, with employers at the heart of shaping future workforce pipelines.
- Nationally, the Industrial Strategy is prioritising skills development, apprenticeships and employer-led training to drive growth in key sectors.
- In London, the Mayor’s skills and talent strategies focus on connecting businesses to diverse local talent and addressing skills shortages.
- In Ealing, our Jobs and Skills Strategy is driving a clear ambition:
to support high-growth sectors, strengthen the local workforce, and make Ealing a great place to do business and invest.
EBAS is our practical response — working directly with employers to turn strategy into action.
Please note: places are limited and expected to fill quickly.
