Easton Pond Duck Sit

Easton Pond and Green End Pond can hold a nice variety of still-wintering waterfowl, along with other interesting birds. Join Louise & Barbara as we scan both ponds. We will pick a spot close to the parking area to set up. Scopes and extra binoculars will be available. Come for the duration, or for just a little while. This is a very informal event. All levels of birders are welcome, as are families with children. Parking: is available in the small lot at 172 Aquidneck Ave, with additional parking available next door at Taste Design, 170 Aquidneck. Trail: There is a short, flat, loose gravel trail that is about 1/10th of a mile to the sit location. There are no benches available, but you are welcome to bring a chair. There are no restrooms at this location, but there is a Cumberland Farms 1/4 mile from the site on Aquidneck Ave with a restroom for paying customers. Heavy rain or strong wind cancels the event.
