Bike Newport is delighted to present another unforgettable season of our Full Moon Rides Sponsored by AARP Rhode Island. The secret is out about these highly enjoyable group rides around the beautiful Ocean Drive, made all the more beautiful by colorful Newport sunsets and the glistening full moon glow on the water. Be sure to register while space remains, and we look forward to riding with you.
We'll gather at Equality Park in downtown Newport (adjacent to Parlor Bar & Kitchen, 200 Broadway), and once we get to King's Park our coastal route will bring us past scenic harbor, bay, and ocean views - lit first by the setting sun, and then by the rising moon.
Suggested Donation: $10 per Rider. Donations are not required. All donations are welcome, and support Bike Newport's inclusive programs for bike safety education and advocacy. You'll see a 'Donate' option during checkout. Thank you!
The Ride:
We'll ride 13 miles on Newport’s scenic roads and coastline by the light of the moon – from downtown Newport to Green Bridge, around some of the beautiful Ocean Loop, and along the mansions of Bellevue Avenue.
