We invite you to join us for the Easthampton Candlelight Vigil Honoring Lives Lost to Substance Use on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
This special evening is an opportunity to come together as a community to remember and honor all those we have lost to substance use—whether through overdose or other related causes. We gather to grieve, to support one another, and to stand together in hope and healing.
The vigil will include:
• Resource tables from 6:00–7:00 PM with local organizations offering information and support
• Food Collection- consider bringing a food item(s) that will be donated to the Easthampton Community Center
• Rock painting/ Luminary bag- decorate a memorial rock or luminary bag with name, date, or special symbol in honor of a loved one.
• Speakers and a candlelight ceremony in remembrance of loved ones.
All are welcome to attend—family members, friends, community members, advocates, and anyone who has been touched by substance use.
