Griselda’s Rome Streetz is likely the best contemporary embodiment of the pure MC in the classic sense. He has the bars and breath control of Kool G Rap and the sort of timbre you haven’t heard much since Big L passed. Known for his dense, multi-layered lyricism and gritty boom-bap sound, he is celebrated for bridging New York street rap with influences from his early UK upbringing. He’s collaborated with rappers from Method Man and Ransom, to Griselda comrades Westside Gunn and Boldy James. He often collaborates with producers such as DJ Muggs, Daringer, Conductor Williams, and Futurewave.
