About this Event
Welcome to to the East of England Sustainable Building Network, an event designed to bring together construction companies, local authorities, and industry experts to foster collaboration and drive sustainability across the region’s built environment. With the UK government targeting NetZero carbon emissions by 2050, the construction industry is pivotal in achieving these goals.
Norfolk County Council have set ambitious NetZero targets for 2030 for their own assets, London is often seen as a leader due to its scale of investment and infrastructure and client aspirations, but our own experience (as an SME Architectural Practice) is that a sustainability agenda beyond the requirements of minimum statutory compliance is rare, especially in terms of planning commitments and client ambition. As a Norfolk-based architectural practice, Cannon Clarke Architects aims to take responsibility as sustainability leaders in our sector.
Join us for an informal discussion as we explore the subject of sustainability in the built environment in Norfolk. This event provides an open platform for learning, sharing knowledge, and empowering businesses to confidently address the sustainability agenda. Together, we can strengthen relationships, share best practices, and explore solutions that will push us closer to NetZero.
