Join us for the East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention 2026 on Saturday, May 16 at Temple University’s Student Faculty Center in Philadelphia.
This free, daylong celebration of comics, culture, and community brings together creators, fans, and industry professionals for an unforgettable experience centered on stories made by, for, and about people of African descent.
Attendees can explore a full schedule of engaging workshops focused on Writing, Drawing, and navigating the Comics Industry. Panel discussions feature diverse voices sharing insights on craft, career pathways, representation, and the evolving world of graphic storytelling.
The AfriCoz Costume Contest invites fans of all ages to showcase their creativity and passion for comics’ culture. Whether you design your own look or represent a favorite character, the stage is yours.
The all-day Marketplace offers a wide selection of comic books, graphic novels, artwork, and related merchandise from independent creators and vendors. It is the perfect place to discover new voices, support artists directly, and expand your collection.
