About this Event
As OSH professionals, we deal with complexity every day, law, standards, systems, people and pressure. But being effective isn’t about adding more, it’s about knowing when to simplify.
This CPD event explores what effective practice really looks like, blending ethics, competence and practical application with honest conversation and shared experience.
🧠 On the agenda
- Ethics, where they come from and how they show up in real life
- The personal traits that shape professional judgement
- Sales in Safety, what we can learn from how influence really works
- The IOSH Code of Conduct in context, honesty, competence, respect and responsibility
- A practical CPD workshop applying the Code of Conduct to real‑world scenarios
Who it's for
This session is designed to challenge thinking, spark discussion and provide practical takeaways you can apply immediately, whether you’re influencing at board level or on the shop floor.
It’s also a great opportunity to connect with the East Anglia IOSH community, reflect on professional values, and earn meaningful CPD along the way.
