What is a sound journey (sound bath)?

A sound journey (sound bath)/or crystal), gongs, tuning forks, chimes, drums, flutes, and other sonic tools that produce calming sounds. The goal of a sound bath is to promote deep relaxation, reduce stress, and restore balance to the mind and body through the power of sound.

During a sound bath, participants usually lie comfortably or seated, often with their eyes closed, while the practitioner plays the instruments in a specific sequence. The sounds and vibrations help guide the listener into a deep meditative state, where they can experience reduced mental chatter, emotional release, and physical relaxation. A sound bath can also align and balance the energy centers in the body (also called chakras).

What should I bring to a Sound Journey?

It's recommended to bring a few essentials to ensure you're comfortable and fully immersed in the experience. Here are some ideas: a yoga mat, cushion, or blanket to lie on comfortably, a zero gravity folding chair (if you don't lying on the floor), a pillow or cushion for your head and neck support, an eye mask(for a more immersive experience), water bottle, personal items like crystals, and an open heart and mind.

Info: Welcome to the Sound Bath Journey with Lynne! This time is to check in, set up your personal items (yoga mat, pillow, etc.), and ask any questions you may have before the Sound Bath Journey begins. Meet and Greet with other attendees in community.
Energy exchange is a sliding scale: Pay what you can $25 to $40. In the ticket section, select the amount. All tickets are general admission.

This also allows you time to gather your belongings, ask questions, talk with other attendees, and take your time heading home for the evening. Get ready to sleep incredibly well after this session! After the sound bath, drink lots of filtered water, too.
