Women of the Earth,You are invited to gather in ritual to reconnect to the land that holds us and the community that surrounds us.
Our theme is rekindling connection, that sense of coming back home to kin, gathering around the hearth. Winter is coming, it’s a time to bring people closer in, bring our energy in and nourish our soul with intimate connection. In this space, we will be rekindling our fire and our desire for connection, through feeling, dancing and simply being together.
In this sacred space we will:
~ Begin with an embodied meditation of acknowledgement to pay our respects to custodians and country.
~ Share in circle our intentions and what is on our heart. This will set the scene for what we are moving into with our dance
~ Dance to earthy beats that bring us home to body and Earth
~ End in circle together to reflect and connect
You are invited to stay for cacao and tea after to share in cosy company.

ABOUT EARTHDANCE
Earthdance is a meditation and movement practice inspired by the Australia landscape. It is a journey of connection and healing. Sound, gentle facilitation and movement works to gently guide us back to our natural state and rekindle our connection to the Earth beneath our feet.

This is an inclusive event for people who identify as and live as women. As a meditation and movement practice there is no need for dance experience. All women welcome here.

What to bring:
Warmth - warm cloths and a blanket if you want to be extra cosy.
Softness - a cushion or yoga mat to sit on.

Give yourself time to find us as it will be dark and it can be hard to find us. I suggest arriving 10min early.

About your Facilitator
Karla Riddell
Karla is a healer committed to creating sacred spaces for women to self-realise and heal. With a decade of training and initiations in traditional healing and Shamanic practice, she holds space with a deep appreciation for land and culture. Deeply integrated with a background in Paramedicine, Karla has a lived experience of what it is to humbly serve humanity. She is also a spoken word artist and writer, naturally infusing inspiration and deep enquiry as she facilitates, speaking intuitively to what arises in the moment.
Karla is also a strong advocate for people of country and speaks directly to the need to respect country and custodians.
