Earth Hour 2025 - Woodland Event for Cacao, Drums & EcoMagic

Earth Hour 2025 is on Saturday 22nd March- between 8.30pm to 9.30pm. It was started to switch off non-essential lights for 1 hour and reduce energy drain on Earth's resources.. but has grown to include a hundred other good intention and activities. What better place than in Nature in woods to spen Earth Hour, and with like-minded magical and spiritual friends?

So we meet slightly earlier for magical altar setup, preparations, heating up Cacao, energy raising with drums & chants - for the Eco-Magical ceremony that will be held.
Bring lanterns and candles. (yes LED lights are acceptable).
Bring easy to learn and sing chant that you can teach us and sing..
Bring good magical intentions.

• This event is Alcohol Free to begin with. (wine may be consumed, after ceremony).
• This event is meat Free through out. So please only bring vegetarian food to share.

Cacaco:

Cacao is a raw chocholate ceremonial drink used by native tribes in Americas to create heart opening and a very very mild trance state for their rituals. We will bring a portable camping cooker, heating pan, and cups. During the heating of Cacao, we will be energy raising by chants around the cacao to imbue it with energy. Once drunk, we will carry on energy raising..

Eco-Magical ceremony:

Once Caco has been drunk and we have had time to raise energy, there will be a 10-15minute guided pathworking - using te Tree Meditaion and chakra energy work.. by chanting the 7 mantras for 7 Chakras.

• (bring warm cloths and blankets to wrap up).
• After this, we call on the elementals of Air, fire, water, Earth... and other natural spirits, fairies, angels, and animal totem spirits for intention setting of eco-magic - petitioning nature spirits to help Earth Goddess Gaia
• Possible intentions: The exact magical intention will be left to each individual to decide internally... so that we are not in any way infringing on each other's Will and purpose. The Earth to reach harmonious balance, humans to reduce pollution and harming environment, and we increase our harmonious living with nature and other life forms..

We are Changing...!:

We hope to make our magical events even more experiential. So we are changing the way we meet n greet, set up and do things.

Help Build altar & take a role in ritual:
Few of the attendees can help us build altar with logs, foliage, and lights and lanterns, statues brought from home.

• Saturday 22nd March 2025.
• 6.30pm - Meeting by entrance to Queen's Woods, On Queen's Wood Road.
• Event expected to finish by 9.30pm as Earth Hour ends.

Fee:
FREE EVENT.
(some donations to cover costs always welcome).

Venue / Terrain/ Access/ meeting point:

• Queen's Wood, High Gate, Queenswood Road, Highgate, North London, N6 5UU.
• Please wait at the entrance to the Queen's woods on `Queen's Wood Road' .
• Postcode N6 5UU in google map will show the approximate area on the road. Walking a little further, you'll find a sign board that's entrance to Queen's woods.

These events are held in a public Open woods, with rough terrain, and in natural weather conditions (not easy or suitable for some people with mobility or respiratory / heart issues).

we regret organisers don't have the manpower to physically assist anyone attending with mobility or health issues. But you are welcome to bring a Support person / Carer who can assist you

General conduct & inclusivity:
Please be kind, compassionate and on good behaviour throughout the whole gathering. We have a mixture of experienced & beginners at these rituals. Also, some people may have hidden difficulties, vulnerability and disabilities. We are inclusive of all race, pagan beliefs, genders, sexuality, LGBTQP+

OPTIONAL- items to bring

• Moon crowns, flower crowns, antler crowns ( real or artifical craft items).
• Ritual cloaks / capes, masks you may like to wear
• Torch light for safe walking in woods at night
• Extra warm clothing & rain-coats/ outdoor shoes or boots (and ankle covered socks! ).
• Small ground sheet or blanket to sit on for social.
• Lanterns / candles
• Your own Cups/chalice to drink from
• Food / drinks to share (unopened shop-packaged items only for covid safety reasons)

Policy: NO Drugs, NO filming during ritual ! No children (under 18yrs) allowed. Our events are for members' personal, magical, spiritual purposes only!
