BFTLDN x Black Women Yoga and Sound Bath

Join BFTLDN for our spring awakening session geared towards black women and wellness. We'll be joined by Bonita Hinckson who will running a relaxing session of yoga and wellness and Georgie Holly who will be ending the evening with soothing sounds to take you to a place of deep relaxation.

Enjoy a rejuvenating yoga and sound healing session, breathing techniques, and a calming meditation. Bonita and Georgie will also share tips for staying mentally healthy while travelling. Whether you're experienced or new to yoga, this event will give you useful tools to stay balanced and calm, no matter where you go.

PLEASE NOTE:

You will need to bring a yoga mat, towel and light blanket and pillow for the sound bath. There will be no yoga equipment available at the Africa Centre for this session. You can also bring yoga blocks and a strap if needed. Unsure on what you need? Contact us at [email protected] before booking.

In September 2020, Bonita embarked on a 200-hour teacher training at Yoga Hub London, a challenging time marked by personal loss and significant growth. Now, as a dedicated yoga instructor, she draws on her experiences to support students, especially those recovering from injuries. She invites you to join her on a transformative journey through yoga.

Georgie brings her deep passion for sound healing to create calming, restorative experiences. Drawing on her background as a 500-hour certified yoga teacher and an advanced Breathwork Instructor, she integrates her understanding of energy flow and balance into each session. Combining instruments like crystal singing bowls with her expertise in breath and frequency, Georgie crafts immersive soundscapes designed to nurture relaxation, connection, and personal growth.
