Join us for an afternoon of self-care and stewardship, at Earth Expressions- a community gathering that will feature a climate circle, sound bath, and guided meditation.
At Earth Expressions we will come together in a climate circle to express our feelings regarding our environment and climate change, and then process those feelings through somatic movement, sound therapy, and meditation, lead by Kayla Horton of Rosebud Wellness.
After the guided mediation there will be music and refreshments, with time to socialize, stretch, dance and/or participate in arts & crafts or personal reflection. Attendees will be able to take a walk or take part in forest bathing (Shinrin yoku) on the Northwest Stream Center's beautiful and accessible nature trail.
The group will reconvene and ground together in our connection to the Earth and our love for nature, while we discuss climate solutions, and our vision of action for a future worth loving.

There will be journal prompts, as well as coloring pages available, but participants are also welcome and encouraged to bring their journal, sketchbook and/or other creative endeavors.

Proceeds will benefit the Adopt A Stream Foundation’s ongoing fundraising efforts to evolve the Northwest Stream Center into a Sustainable Ecosystem Lab- a hub for climate action and stewardship- where the public can come to learn about sustainable technologies and practices, and actualize changes they can make in their own lives and communities to live more sustainably.
At the NWSC’s Sustainable Ecosystem Lab people will be able to see rain barrels and cisterns in action, calculate how many solar panels are needed to power their home or business, learn how to convert their lawns in to native plant landscapes, how to design and install rain gardens, and much, much more.
