Rock Painting: Nature of the PNW
Schedule
Sat Apr 18 2026 at 01:00 pm to 03:00 pm
UTC-07:00Location
600 128th St SE, Everett, WA, United States, Washington 98208 | Everett, WA
Participants can bring their own rocks, and acrylic pens or preferred medium if they would like. Pencils, acrylic pens, paper towels will be provided at the event. There will also be some rocks with pre-drawn designs available for young children or anyone who would like to color, instead of drawing their own designs. There will be a collection of rocks prepped ahead of time with a background color by volunteers so they are ready to paint, however after painting all rocks will require a final sealing process before they can be placed outside. We will have take home flyers with rock sealing instructions for those who would like to take their rocks home with them. All rocks donated to the Northwest Stream Center will be sealed by volunteers after the event.
Before or after the event participants will be able to enjoy an amazing outdoor experience on the Northwest Stream Center’s universally accessible Nature Trail. There, they will go past a Trout Stream Exhibit onto an Elevated Forest and Wetland Walk that winds through 25 acres next to North Creek, three feet above the forest floor and surrounding wetlands.
