Skillman’s presentation will begin inside the Capitol rotunda at 2:30 p.m. It will be followed by a question and answer session and an opportunity to view the museum’s newest exhibition, “Missouri Makers: Celebrating 40 Years of Missouri’s Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program.”
This event is free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. For more information, call the museum director at 573-522-6949.
Weekend access to the capitol is on the south side (facing the Supreme Court Building). Walk up the carriage drive to the tunnel under the grand staircase and enter. All visitors to the capitol are subject to security screening by Capitol Police.
