Earday pokračuje ve zkoumání performativity zvuku, jako vždy v našem oblíbeném mezinárodně uznávaném Punctu, opět v liminálním nedělním odpoledne. Přijďte si odpočinout na terase, potkat staré a seznamit se novými přáteli a my vám zaručujeme, že si užijete dvou živých vystoupení: Light Bulb Music Michaela Vorfelda a Moonwalker Lucie Vitkové.

Earday#3 se zaměří na materialitu zvuku a na možnosti transformace a rozšíření hudebních nástrojů, rozhraní a aparátů. Pro tento díl jsme pozvali Vorfelda a Vitkovou s výzvou k přehodnocení vztahů mezi interprety, zvukem a nástroji, zařazující nelidské entity (nástroje/objekty, prostředí a zvuk samotný) do pozice aktivních ‘aktérů’ ve tvoření performance. Hudba zvukového a mediálního umělce Michael Vorfeld vzniká z čisté elektřiny - z křehkého systemu amplifikovaných žárovek, kde každé praskání a cvakání elektrických spínačů se počítá jako součásti živé performance. V New Yorku usazené a z Blanska pocházející Lucie Vítková/Luc Vitk pracují s charakteristiky diskrétních míst skrze interakci zvuku (akordeon, hlas, hichiriki) a pohybu.
Earday#3 zpochybňuje binární opozici mezi lidským a ne-lidským, uznává vzájemnou souvislost těchto kategorií a otevírá cestu emancipačnímu přístupu, který překračuje lidskou výjimečnost. Tímto rámcem třetí díl série přesouvá těžiště performance od lidských záměrů a akcí k materialitě a možnostem samotného zvuku, objektů a prostorů, což umožňuje hlubší zkoumání sociotechnických rozměrů zvuku. Přijďte si zažit radikální, nekonvenční a experimentální performativní postupy, které zdůrazňují agentnost zvuku, ontologický význam objektů a vliv kulturních narativů.

Earday continues exploring the performativity of sound, always at our favourite internationally acclaimed Punctum, again on liminal Sunday afternoon. Earday#3 focuses on the materiality of sound and ways of extending and transforming musical instruments, interfaces and apparatuses. For this instalment, we have invited Vorfeld and Vitková to reconsider agency and subjectivity, emphasising the entanglement of performer, sound, and instrument, and positioning non-human entities (instruments/objects, environment and sound itself) as active agents in shaping the performance. Music of sound and media artist Michael Vorfeld arises from pure electricity - a fragile ecosystem of amplified light bulbs, in which each pop and click of electrical switches counts as part of a live performance. New York based, Blansko born Lucie Vítková/Luc Vitk work with discreet places within the interaction of sound (accordeon, voice, hichiriki) and movement.
Earday challenges the binary opposition between human and non-human, acknowledging the interdependence of these categories and paving the way for an emancipatory approach that transcends human exceptionalism. With such a framework, a third instalment of the series shifts the focus of performance from human intentions and actions to the materiality and affordances of sound itself, objects and spaces, allowing a deeper exploration of the socio-technical dimensions of sound. Come and experience radical, unconventional and experimental performance practices that highlight the agency of sound, the ontological significance of objects and the influence of cultural narratives.
