In this workshop we will learn a new improv format: the Slacker. The Slacker is "a fast-paced yet relaxed improv format inspired by the Richard Linklater cult classic film 'Slacker.' It avoids heavy structure with a series of tag-ins, constantly flowing from one character to the next."
This workshop is appropriate for all skill levels; this format will be new to almost everyone!
We will return to focusing on plot-science the next week when we explore the "Rebirth" plot line.
Please arrive on time out of respect for the other attendees and teacher.
Price: 200 CZK
I'm holding some spots open for people who are not able to pay. Please contact me directly to see if they are available.
As with all of my events I am committed to this being an environment that is welcoming to people of all ethnic, racial, national, sexual, and gender identities and I hope for the support of all attendees in creating that space of acceptance.
Nick has been improvising for nearly fifteen years and performed and studied across the world. He has attended classes with Hoopla and The Free Association in London, and Flock Theater in Amsterdam. He is a regular attendee at Improv Festivals and was most recently seen performing as part of an ensemble cast at the Robin Hood International Improv Festival in the United Kingdom and at the Moment Festival in Vienna.
